the potential buyer of this phone is 10-16 years old who are mostly unemployed. so,these phones will be bought by parents "unwillingly" due to it's gaming purpose. a distraction device to encourage teenagers killing more time. very productive.

The touch sampling rate is 960hz, the screen refresh rate is 120hz (it mentions 165 in the refresh rate settings in middle of the review) and the CN charging brick is 165W but the phone itself only goes up to 135W, worth mentioning for users that might use it for other devices. Apart from these small details, good review that highlights differences with its predecessor. If anyone wants a Red Magic 7 series you should really consider 7S or 7S Pro!

Bad optmized rom, and carrier agregation (4G+) not working in any nubia phone ( i have the 6S and the 7 Pro) its a big NO will no buy another nubia until this is sorted , its unacceptable that a phone of this value dosent have 4g+ just 4g and 5g

Klaus shwab , 26 Jul 2022S21u drain 15 % per night ,untill i uninstalled all bloatwareNever had the issue myself but I know people that had heavy battery drain issues.
I did have a LG where turning off AOD (which in the end I did never care about anyhow) gave me a 2 hours of screen on time boost, but mostly made my battery drain just 2% at night, instead of 10%.
As for apps, I never had any non Google ones give me drain, but I use specific apps and zero social media ones so maybe that is why.

Hello geeks, does downscaling a 1440p resolution display to 1080p via phone settings improve the onscreen GPU tests as if the phone had a 1080p display out of the factory?

Olympus Oms, 26 Jul 2022Adaptive brightness is just a battery killing gimmick. Slow cards is useless! Grow up and move... moreMicro sd cards were never meant to be used by apps. But to store stuff.
📷 use sd cards, despite having half speed (the most expensive ones) compared to what we see from phones with ufs3.1 (from decent suppliers obviously) , still they lack internal storage.
Got new phone, just take card off and insert insode the new phone.
It is about making life easier.

Problem with 7 pro was low standby time, cause for poor software.
Some phones easily drain 5-6% between midnight and 7 a.m, while other just 1%.
