A great phone for 300 bucks, but it would be better with a Snapdragon or Dimensity chipset.

Exynos 1280 5nm 5G sounds quite attractive, but I still have my doubts about how emulators behave on Exynos processors, many times I have heard that Snapdragon processors are leaders in the emulation department.

with this year downgrades on all phones i advise people to skip buying any samsung phones whatsoever,neither xiaomi the situation there is even worse,it seems rising prices of everything hit them too

Anon, 19 May 2022The review tries to sweep the poor battery rating under the rug. The 1280 soc is not good.Yes...Actually Exynos 1280 is not very efficient and power consumption is really high even though it is built on 5nm node..check the comparison of Exynos 1280 vs sd 695 by notebookcheck.

Curiously, the A73 is also getting the same treatment as A33. Only the A53 getting monthly security updates.

Glad to see Samsung catching up in the midrange segment (perhaps the budget segment for certain regions, depending on your consuming power). One thing which I feel kinda weird is that Samsung decided to drop the AOD feature on the A33 5G, it's a weird move for me but it's not a deal breaker. Xiaomi and Realme aside, Samsung is probably the only major brand that provides stereo speakers at this price range (where similarly priced Vivo and Oppo doesn't give you).

A53 with a bigger display scores better in the battery test. That's weird because A33 and A53 both have the same chipset and display

Samsung is punching where Xiaomi did years ago. And is beating him IMHO.
Those are great specs for price. 4K selfie video don't have many flagships lol. Just don't buy with 4GB RAM
