Anonymous, 04 Feb 2022On the forums in my country people seems to have no problem with battery life, but contrary. don't know why the p50 pro global is bad. the china kirin version has battery life as good as apple 13 pro max despite not using LTPO 2.0 tech. not to mention its cpu and gpu is faster than any 888 android. just check technick channel

GSM keep talking about the pill shaped cut out as a problem on P40 pro, I've been using the phone for a year and it's no problem at all. It's as distracting as a single cutout in the centre tbh (you focus more at the centre if the screen than top left so I actually notice a centre, single cutout than the pill far more).
Plus complaining about a dedicated depth and biometrics camera that creates perfect bokeh effects and actual face biometrics that works in complete darkness vs nothing/fake face unlock, OK GSM ok.
(I sometimes question the people doing the reviews and if they actually give proper and fair evaluations half the time, unless your Samsung or apple then theyll over sell them)

Hell noThat happens on a certain proportion of all phones from all brands as it's basically the same few companies supplying the lenses. I've had it happen on two phones I bought. A lot of consumers probably don't notice though. Better exchange them if you notice it

Really Huawei should consider giving the option back to unlock it.

It's simply overpriced. Hardware-wise it's good. Software, well, that's where the issues come in. Together with the missing Google Services and lack of 5G it feels be hard to justify that price. The locked bootloader is also a giant f.u. to their customers.

Tbh, the camera's photo quality is not that bad. I'm really impressed with the daylight photos, including the 3.5x zoom. I can't say the same for lowlight photos though. The Night Mode does give somewhat better detail purity, but it doesn't really impress me much. Nevertheless, not a bad phone.
