It boasts great features but when u use boy oh boy! u r in on a great 'treat'! : Freezing, overheating, lagging and eventually crashing!!!

I received an OTA update on this phone about 2 weeks ago. I had no issues prior to it, and no issues after either. Though, it installed a few bloatware apps that were easy to remove. The kernel version is now Dec 26, 2025 with last Android security update dated Dec 5, 2025. Not bad for a soon to be 4-yo phone.

I suggest that ESLs run their comments through AI to not burn everybody's eyes. And AI's grammar is great, so you will further your own learning.

Been using this phone as a work phone for about a year. Lovely display, great battery life (lasts me maybe 3 to 5 days per charge), snappy performance. Very impressive considering that I purchased it for about 80 USD new. The camera isn't the clearest, but still impressive given the price point. The macro lens works (though, it's not much to write home about) and the flash is very bright. The Pro mode in the stock camera app even allows you to set shutter speed, a feature quite unusual in this price point. Works great for all business settings - looks sleek, can easily photograph essential documents, handle phone calls, etc. The speakers are a little shrill, but I find myself mostly using the AUX jack anyway for better microphone control. I didn't think I'd use the AUX port - guess I was wrong! And calls sound all right - not great, but all right - on speakerphone. The only significant caveat is that the Doke OS is a surveillance nightmare. I set up AdAway to track and block connections that stock Doke OS apps make to share telemetry and location data to Chinese servers. There is no way to disable most Doke apps that gather such information. Could be a security concern for some.

Currently have one - using alongside my Samsung A73, not a bad phone - considering the price - sound quality when trying to listen to music aint all that great though...but it does support all the features that I need to use.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2022Yeah! Their definitely much better & reputable than some dodgey welcome phones.I have Used all the years Samsung my latest S10+ and I can tell you this Oscal C80 impressed me so much I bought my wife the same phone. It give the same performance and much more
I am really impressed I will definitely buy the next Oscal top of the range soon. Really a very competitive for the branded cellphones with a price you can't compare

At $115 this is one of the cheapest phones with 8 gigs of RAM. It also has UFS 2.1 storage and a 90Hz refresh rate screen, though only 720p.
The UFS storage in particular is impressive, as most phones in this price range have slow eMMC storage which tends to degrade over time.

The phone is reliable with the 8gb of RAM and the 128gb ROM. The back camera video is FHD 1080 30FPS OR HD 780 30FPS Front camera is good as well. I have the device from 2 weeks and can say that is a great value for the money!
