Nash16, 07 Jul 2025Still working flawlessly with a custom rom. No lag, no delay with Android 15Same here. Works well on Android 15 with LineageOS. Battery isn't that great anymore, but still doable. Anway it's time for the Pixel 10 now together with GrapheneOS. Will use this phone as an offline music player and map (OSM) for in the car.

Been running this phone for nearly 8 years and the original screen broke today for the first time. Now I was shopping around for a new phone to run for 8 years and can't find anything quite like this phone was when it released.

this with aviumui 16.2 is so good, performs well on evo x 10.3 as well (had to main it in summer 2025)

Together with OnePlus 5T and paired with LineageOS 22.2 they make good combo for grandparents' who don't want to pay much for new mobiles (neither buying new but low-end (and often low-quality) devices makes sense). Different phones (so they don't confuse them) yet the same UI so one can help another. Also far less annoying / confusing popups common in stock Androids. As for the hardware well, it's OnePlus when it still mattered; Peak finish, packed with enough power to snappily run Android versions far beyond their original ones, survive 1-1.5 days on single charge (OP6 has roughly 64% battery condition). I could go with MicroG instead of standard GPlay on them but eh, grandparents are satisfied anyway...

One of the best, most powerful, most well supported phones for running and developing the mobile Linux ecosystem. I have two, one 64GB running Android as my daily driver and another 128GB running postmarketOS as my pocket development system. Once mobile Linux solves a few more issues related to call stability and camera quality, it might be fully daily driveable. Amazing how well this older device still holds up in 2025. The 6 has the added benefit of having a headphone jack over the 6T.

Bought my OnePlus 6 February 2019 and used it till today. It's one of the best phones I ever had. Never had any issues, was just running flawless. The screen is still pristine condition using always a glass protector and a soft case. Even several drops on concrete did no cause any damages. All switches are working perfectly fine. Only the battery life is now probably at around 50% which is quiet normal after more than 5 years. Have now upgraded to 12R - Oxygen is the best OS for Android phones... I guess I would never endure the boring OSes like Samsung and Google.

for online watching video the battery back up is below 1 to 2 hours. Compare with other phones net access is very poor. All keys are damaged.

I bought this phone as second hand in 2023 i used 8/128 version. the phone working is fine i playinging efootball and pubg some time phone is over heat other wise not a problem main problem is battery life battery life is not good
