OnePlus Android Rumors

It is still early days in terms of OnePlus 16 leaks since the phone is slated to launch sometime in Q4 2026. Hence, take these preliminary specs with a grain of salt. Still, the OnePlus 16 is shaping up as one heck of a flagship.

The phone’s display is said to be a flat BOE X5 OLED panel with a 1220p resolution and a whopping 240Hz refresh rate. Underneath the hood, we might see a Pro version of Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon Elite Gen 6 chipset, rumored to reach insane 6GHz clock speeds. It is paired with LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Unfortunately, the storage will be non-expandable.

Other alleged specs include a massive 9,000 mAh battery, paired with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. As for the camera, apparently, we can expect two 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensors – one for the main camera and one for the periscope telephoto. According to the source, we can also expect a new ultrawide camera. However, we have no details regarding it quite yet.

Other smaller bits include an Ultrasonic 2.0 fingerprint scanner under the display, dual coaxial speakers and a 0916R vibration motor.

Are they though? If you know where to look for, near black friday I was able to find OnePlus surplus at "near cost" discounts -- although the official sale prices were still much higher. That's not "doing fine" by anyone'...
