Poco has officially confirmed the global launch of its new F9 series, which will consist of the Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra. The company has also revealed the phones’ design and colour options, confirming earlier leaks that the phones are rebranded versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max.
The Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra will be unveiled globally on September 1 via an online event.
Apart from confirming the launch date, Poco has also showcased the F9 Ultra in a Dark Cherry colourway, and the F9 Pro in an Aurora Green shade.
While the company has yet to reveal the specs of the upcoming phones, a recent leak managed to spill all the details. Although the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra are essentially rebranded versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, respectively, the Poco models are said to get smaller batteries.
The leak suggests that the Poco F9 Pro will pack a 6,330mAh battery, while the F9 Ultra will feature an 8,050mAh unit. The rest of the specs are said to remain unchanged from their Redmi counterparts. The F9 Pro is tipped to cost around €799, while the F9 Ultra could be priced at €999.
