A new leak today, purportedly originating inside HyperOS 3 code, seems to reveal what we can expect from the next members of Poco's X-series in terms of battery capacity and charging spec.

The Poco X8 Pro will allegedly have a 6,500 mAh battery, while the Poco X8 Pro Max will have an 8,500 mAh battery. Both will support 100W wired charging.

The Poco X8 Pro may be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5, while the Poco X8 Pro Max could be based on the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, but both of the Pocos will have smaller batteries than the Redmis. They won't be small per se, and the X8 Pro Max will have the biggest capacity ever seen in a Poco, but they will be smaller.

If the Pocos are based on the aforementioned Redmis, then expect the X8 Pro to come with a 6.59-inch 1268x2756 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, 12/16GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 20MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the X8 Pro Max should have a 6.83-inch 1280x2772 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, the same RAM and storage amounts as the X8 Pro, and the same cameras too.
