vivo X Fold5 goes on sale in India

vivo introduced the X200 FE and X Fold5 in India about two weeks ago. The vivo X200 FE went on sale in India last week, and now, the vivo X Fold5 is also available for purchase in the country.

The vivo X Fold5 comes in a single Titanium Grey color option in India with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage onboard. It's priced at INR149,999 ($1,720/€1,490) and can be purchased from vivo's Indian website, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and leading retail partner outlets.

The vivo X Fold5 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood, runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, and comes with the promise of four years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

The vivo X Fold5 features an 8.03" 120Hz 2,200p LTPO AMOLED folding display and a 6.53" 1,172p LTPO AMOLED cover screen, which also has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Fold5's triple camera setup on the rear, co-developed with ZEISS, comprises 50MP primary, 50MP periscope telephoto (3x optical), and 50MP ultrawide units, while the two selfie cameras use 20MP sensors.

vivo X Fold5 goes on sale in India

The X Fold5 is fueled by a 6,000 mAh Si/C battery, supporting 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. It also supports reverse wired and wireless charging.

The rest of the vivo X Fold5's highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP58 and IP59+ ratings, and stereo speakers. The smartphone weighs 217 g and measures 9.2mm when folded and 4.3mm when unfolded.

a Fold phone is more satisfying then 16 Pro Max ownership, whether it is Honor, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo. Apple will copy the folding phone soon.

Compromised phone. And for that view, every phone is compromised somewhere. Vivo is working with old Soc, has poor reputation of updates; but better hardware. Samsung has better Soc, better updates and soft ware is polished. Cameras are kind...
