Poco Android Rumors Xiaomi

Poco has already confirmed that it's launching the X8 and X8 Power in India on September 4, following a mega leak that basically outed all of their specs. The brand has even confirmed that the X8 Power will have a 10,000 mAh battery, while the X8 will pack a 9,000 mAh cell.

One thing that hasn't been outed yet is the pricing we should expect. Now, courtesy of a different source, we get rumored price ranges for both of the models. The Poco X8 will allegedly be in the INR 28,000 to INR 30,000 ($292 to $313) range, while the X8 Power will be about INR 35,000 ($365). Rumor has it the former will be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro, while the latter is a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, mostly. There may still be some small differences here and there.

According to the leaked specs from last week, the Poco X8 has a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 3,500-nit peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset at the helm, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 16MP selfie shooter, and 67W wired charging support for its battery.

The X8 Power, on the other hand, reportedly comes with an added 8MP ultrawide camera, a 32MP selfie camera, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 SoC, and support for 100W wired charging, being otherwise identical to the X8.

Honestly, you'd have to be out of your mind to pay full price for the X8 or X8 Power. I got the X8 Pro 512GB version for only €150 with trade-in stacked bonuses. Xiaomi prices drop fast anyway, but paying full MSRP for these is a joke.🤡
