Sony Headphones Rumors

Sony launched the WH-1000XM4 headphones in 2020, and they've been discontinued for a while now. However, the company is apparently working on relaunching them as the WH-1000XM4C. We first heard about this a couple of weeks or so ago, and today there's a new leak about them, so they're clearly an actual thing. Here they are in three colors.

The WH-1000XM4C will allegedly support Bluetooth 6.0, which is a clear upgrade over the WH-1000XM4's Bluetooth 5.0. However, they will get a downgrade in terms of battery life, going from 30 hours with ANC on to 27, and from 38 hours with ANC off to 34. We're not sure if the new Bluetooth version has anything to do with that.

The WH-1000XM4C may launch in different colors, and the NFC logo on the left earcup has been removed. Otherwise, these will be identical to the WH-1000XM4. The previous rumor suggested that they will be priced at €249.99 in the Eurozone and £219.99 in the UK. The new pair is clearly intended to be a cheaper alternative to the WH-1000XM6, and one that still has excellent ANC.

Sounds like a typical iPhone user whenever I hear claim *SBC is good enough... Because beside Apple products can use AAC, all other vendor can only use SBC. Had combination of WH-XM3 over Asus/Samsung and WH-XM4 over Samsung/Pixel - no issue wit...
