Redmi K100 Pro, Galaxy S27, Pixel 11 specs leak, Week 32 in review

Xiaomi revealed the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max ahead of their August 11 launch. The K100 Pro gets a redesigned camera island, a 6.59-inch 185Hz display, and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset, while the Pro Max adds a 6.9-inch OLED display, a 9,000mAh battery, and a triple 50MP rear camera with a periscope telephoto lens. Pricing and availability will be announced at launch.

Meanwhile, OnePlus sold out its entire smartphone stock in North America, essentially marking an end to its presence in North America.

Next up is Samsung. Rumors this week have to do with the cameras of the next-gen S models. The Galaxy S27 Pro will reportedly feature a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 12MP 3x telephoto. Previous rumors had it much closer to the Ultra 50MP 3.5x zoom, but alas.

Speaking of the Ultra, the Galaxy S27 Ultra will lose the 3x telephoto camera and retain the 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP 5x telephoto. Users will just have to resort to in-sensor zoom from the main 200MP camera for their 3x needs.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy F70 Pro in India with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and a triple 50MP rear camera setup. The phone is promised to receive six Android OS updates and six years of security patches, and starts at INR 24,999 for the 8/128GB model, with sales beginning on August 11.

Leaked official-looking renders gave us another look at the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL ahead of its August 12 unveiling. The images show an unchanged design, but with a refined camera bar, four color options, and Google's rumored new "Pixel Glow" notification light integrated into the camera island.

Meanwhile, leaked promo materials confirmed some previously rumored features of the Pixel 11 Pro, namely the Tensor G6 SoC, up to 120x AI-enhanced digital zoom, and the new "Pixel Glow" notification light.

Xiaomi quietly launched the Redmi 17 in parts of Europe. The budget phone features a 6.9-inch 120Hz LCD, a Unisoc T8300 chipset, a 6,300mAh battery, and a 13MP main camera, with prices starting at €139.90 for the 4/128GB version and €159.90 for the 6/128GB model.
