Huawei HarmonyOS Announcement

As expected, Huawei unveiled its Enjoy 90 series in China today with two entries - Enjoy 90 Plus and Enjoy 90 Pro Max. Both phones come equipped with Huawei’s in-house Kirin 8000 chip, larger batteries and HarmonyOS 6.0. The pair is joined by the Enjoy 90, which shares its key specs and design with the Enjoy 90 Plus but comes with the Kirin 8000A chip.

Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max

Enjoy 90 Pro Max is built around a 6.84-inch OLED with 2,756 × 1,272 px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features Huawei’s 7nm Kirin 8000 chip alongside up to 512GB storage and IP65 ingress protection.

The back of the Enjoy 90 Pro Max houses a single 50MP main camera with a RYYB sensor and an f/1.9 aperture. The phone also features an 8MP front-facing camera.

The standout feature on the Enjoy 90 Pro Max is its 8,500 mAh Si-C battery, which Huawei claims can deliver up to 28 hours of video streaming. It also supports 40W wired charging.

Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max comes in Flying Blue, Dawn Gold, Snowy White, and Obsidian Black colors.

Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus

Enjoy 90 Plus gets a 6.67-inch LCD with 1,604 × 720 px resolution and an 8MP selfie cam. Enjoy 90 Plus is also equipped with the Kirin 8000 chipset and is configurable with 128 or 256GB storage.

Around the back, Enjoy 90 Plus brings a single 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. Enjoy 90 Plus gets a 6,620 mAh Si-C battery rated at up to 24 hours of video streaming. It also supports 40W wired charging.

Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus comes in Starry Night Black, Starry Sea Blue, and Yusha White colors. Huawei is also offering a non-Plus version of the device which has the same core specs and design but comes with a binned Kirin 8000A chipset and slightly lower starting prices.

Pricing and availability

Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max starts at CNY 1,699 ($246) for the 128GB trim and goes up to CNY 2,399 ($348) for the version with 512GB storage.

Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus starts at CNY 1,499 ($218) for the 128GB trim, while the 256GB version is CNY 300 more. Enjoy 90 Plus and Enjoy 90 Pro Max are scheduled to go on open sale in China from April 4. The vanilla Enjoy 90 will join them on April 20.

Most competitors in pricing category have either Snapdragon 685/6s4GG2/6sG3 or Helio G99/G100/G200. All of them made with are 7-nm generation TSMC N6 (which is N7++++).

That's because US sanctions But this CNY 1400 device have 8.5K battery So 7nm doesn't really a problem
