Gurman: iPhone 18 Pro to get a Red color option, no fun colors for iPhone Fold

As Apple gears up to unveil new MacBooks and the iPhone 17e ahead of its March 4 event, fresh details about the company’s next flagship iPhones have emerged.

In his latest newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is testing a new color option for the iPhone 18 Pro series. He notes that the new iPhones could be available in a deep red finish.

The new red shade is said to be positioned as the flagship color for the iPhone 18 Pro models. Gurman adds that Apple may retain the popular Cosmic Orange option while introducing the red variant as an additional choice.

Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly avoiding “fun” colorways for the iPhone Fold, which is also expected to debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in September. The foldable model is tipped to arrive in dark gray/black and white/silver finishes.
