vivo launched the X200T a few days ago, and now it's teasing the launch of two new V Series smartphones - the vivo V70 and V70 Elite.

vivo hasn't announced the launch date of the V70 and V70 Elite yet, but the brand has set up a promo page on its official Indian website, revealing the lineup's key specs and the design of what's probably the V70 Elite. More importantly, vivo revealed the chipsets that will power the two smartphones. The V70 Elite will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC at the helm, while the V70 will have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC under the hood.

The V70 series will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage being one of the memory options for the Elite version. The V70 pair will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box and receive four OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The V70 lineup will feature a 6.59-inch "1.5K Ultra Clear OLED Display," having 5,000 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR support. The display will also have a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded with "3D Anti-spoofing technology" and support for wet touch, while the centered punch-hole will house a 50MP selfie camera co-developed with ZEISS.

Agreed, the Vivo T4 (Pro namesake) is essentially a rebranded Vivo V60 at a significantly cheaper price without compromising much.
