I found many people say iOS, Pixel and One UI are the best OS but I don't talk trash anything like many people here.

Battery: 6000MhA vs 6500mAh [+8.3%]

Video: 16:20h vs 23:28h [+43.7%]
Gaming: 8:02h vs 10:14h [+27.4%]
Chipset is basically the same only +150-200Mhz higher clocks and Android 16 instead of 15.

Their flagship looks good battery life because of the high end LTPO display. iOS also looks good because only Apple uses it. It shouldn't be compared to Android.

TheEgoIko, 16 hours agoHyperOS is literally the worst Android Skin for SoT. I don't think this is true any longer. Xiaomi has pretty decent battery life even If you exclude the higher capacity packed.
HyperOS is also not particularly bad, but I find It annoying they can't/don't want to fix the problem with charging to full capacity despite me limiting It to only 80%. I always need to restart/shutdown so It once again works. Truly annoying.

That one had subpar battery life compared to Its capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max with 9,210mAh for EU showed fantastic battery life except gaming where It was for some reason seriously subpar.
What I have to criticize is that they don't use the same capacity globally, that's annoying like hell when I pay more for It here in EU and get less than someone buying It in China.

For the capacity the best is still iOS, samsung is nothing to write about and they don't even give you higher battery capacity.

It looks like Xiaomi had improved battery optimization even for their other phones.

HyperOS is infested with uninstallable bloatware and spyware that cannot be disabled. Now I even have to put up with the Xiaomi's AI garbage. All the aforementioned are draining the battery for no benefit to the end user. I'm seriously considering to switch to another brand now that Xiaomi stopped pushing security patches and completely abandoned its older phones.
