I tried the Pixel 11 Pro XL's camera in a store.
-There is no 42 megapixel selfie camera, only on paper: There is still no full resolution mode for the selfie camera and the camera app always uses analog binning, so dng files of the selfie camera have a maximum resolution of 10 megapixel.
-at 2x, 10x, 120x there seems to be always analog binning (low resolution dng files) in the default mode in contrast to Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro.
Only when you enable the 50 megapixel mode, binning is disabled at for example 10x, 120x, ... and then you get dng files with a higher resolution.
-Jpg results at 15x are worse than on my Pixel 7 Pro. Even at 120x (no matter whether you choose the Pro zoom 120x AI version or the standard 120x AI version and no matter whether you enable the 50 megapixel mode), you get less true detail from a distant object than with a Pixel 7 Pro at 15x. 120x results with the "Minimal" look seem to be even worse with extreme sharpening artifacts even though I used the lowest sharpening setting.
The maximum zoom factor with Night Sight turned on is 30x.
-dng files at 15x with the 50 megapixel mode enabled are quite similar to the Pixel 7 Pro, but I think still slightly worse
-dng files at 120x have a noticeably smaller field of view than jpgs at 120x
-f-number of the periscope camera is 2.84 according to the exif data, not 2.80
-it's nice to have more settings for the jpgs, but settings like warmth and tint don't seem to work, when you have manually chosen the white balance previously

Wait for Black Friday; it’ll be cheaper at third-party retailers. I like Pixel phones, but at that price—and with a GPU from a mid-range phone from the early part of this decade—it’s just a joke...

No need for few weeks, not worth it! only for those who have a pixel 7 maybe and need to upgraded but pixel 10 pro is cheaper unless you really need few more leds on the back.
