Actually it's true that,
Both show ads. Xiaomi displays system ads and recommendations across all its main brand lines (Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco) running MIUI or HyperOS.
You can turn them off by revoking authorization for msa under Settings > Passwords & Security > Authorization & Revocation, and disabling "Personalized ad recommendations" in ad services settings.
But Xiaomi should has to stop them completely from the devices.
Otherwise,I'm also have a good experience with Xiaomi..

It will go way beyond that and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will break 1.5L barrier easily for 16+512GB lone variant if LPDDR6+UFS 5.0 storage is used. This phone will be better than Xiaomi 17 Ultra for sure. Just needs battery to be optimized properly. Other than UI and battery, I have no complaints from Xiaomi phones. Software worst at its best. That's why custom rom community needs to be alive for these phones. Also, POCO F8 Ultra was very close to Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. I don't know whether there will be gap this year or not.

In the near future, I expect you... moreI don't understand Xiaomi's obsession with copying Apple, down to things like copying their designs and naming schemes perfectly. WHY?! Xiaomi is a big company with tons of great products and also a well known name. There is absolutely no need to be a copycat. They could make awesome products with own identity instantly recognizable as Xiaomi yet they deice to copy Apple. I don't understand it. They even do it for small home appliances that all have matte white semi futuristic and very minimalistic aesthetics, but not for smartphones.
Also I don't understand why is there a plastic back on Xiaomi's flagship phones that cost over 1200€. I don't care if it's "fiber reinforced", it'll get all scratched and ugly after few placements on regular surfaces because that's what plastic does. And I hate scratched surfaces. Glass is far more durable and I don't care if it cracks on drops. I've had bunch of phones in last 20 years and not a single one ever had any glass cracked. They were all scratched and ugly af from those small damages. For me, smartphone with sapphire crystal on front and back would be literally the absolute perfection. They'd just never get scratched. I'd have that any time over any stupid regular glass. My S23 Ultra looks like a** with just stupid random scratches on display that literally just appear out of nowhere. I pull it out of my pocket and behold, new mega scratch on the display and I literally did nothing. It's just suddenly there.

In the near future, I expect you to have to watch ads (regardless of the brand of phone) even if you have to call 911 (112 for Europe) to seek help in a disaster.
Nobody cares about you and me, only about our money. Whether you survive will not matter, as long as you transferred money before that... Anyway...
Your words also support my opinion that Xiaomi is not what it was in the past. At least for me, it did not develop in the right direction regarding smartphones. If they had continued with the original idea of a reliable and cheap option with great software, they would have sold many more phones. Instead, they preferred the easier path - Copy/Paste of Apple. I guess there is much more money in EV and that is why they went to plan B (Apple cloning) regarding smartphones.
But this is just my opinion and I do not commit anyone to it.

When they have the percent of the market then they start to rise the price. It basically was same with OnePlus and Huawei
For me my Poco F5 i don't have the alarm clock issue. Only thing that don't work well for me and didn't work well with my previous Redmi Note 5 ai dual cam was facebook messenger app that didn't make the sound to notify incoming message and then made the notification hours later when i used the phone
The ads part as i said it's in the apps as even the pre installed apps. That is something i can't complain about. Even LG builds in ads to their computer monitors now so there is no avoiding them in the future. If the ads are in the apps then that is not actually part of the operation system.

I don't understand wha... moreAs a past Xiaomi fan and current owner of several Xiaomi devices, as well as those of many of my relatives that I have recommended to them to buy, I can tell you that there are ads in the Poco phones in the version sold in my country in Europe.
And no, not in apps I installed afterwards, but in those that the phone came pre-installed with.
Recently, a few months ago, we bought 2 Poco X7 Pro for my relatives. Even when setting an alarm in the phone app, there were ads. And what was even more ridiculous was that with 2 identical phones from the same batch updated to the same version of HyperOS, they behaved like 2 different phones and had different bugs. For example, on one the alarm on the clock worked, on the second one it started working after a few updates and until then you had to use a third-party app.
And no, they were not fake phones, but original ones purchased from a mobile operator in my country.
The quality of Xiaomi phones has dropped significantly, including their software. Only their prices are steadily rising.

Xiaomi, please do not launch these devices in India if you want to only give these with Google Dialer and not your default MiDialer/HyperOS Dialer. Nobody will buy them.

I don't understand what that even means cause i don't have ads and i have not gone trough the menu to look where to even turn off ads and i never see ads. Ads maybe are in apps only but that is expected and normal while none of that can be complained about the operation system cause that is totally ads free. I don't have ads even in the cleaner app that is in the Xiaomi pre installed apps.
You get ads basically in every app you install on your phone that is free app.

What I would like, is the 18 Max, without the "Pro". I personally don't crave any back display. For a long time I expected the larger model, as the Xiaomi 14 Pro, to be available in the EU.
