These discount and bring in your old phone have list of phone they accept and then give you that like up to 250 euro discount but when you sell your phone as second hand you get like 400 euro for the phone that they take in for your discount up to 250 euro.
The good deal is only for the shops and if you don't understand this then you are sadly the one who would be bad businessman. No business can ever survive if they start a charity like giving a good deal for the customer. It's all in man!pulati!n that the customer gets a good deal and then later finds out that they are the next victim who believe the sweet talk of the salesman

I do... moreThey certainly need a massive improvement on the cameras compared to the Chinese versions which are complete and utter trash. The Chinese pro model only supports 1080p 30fps video and comes with a 1/2.76" rubbish one camera at the rear setup. Has to be the worst launch of the year in China of any company as the downgrades on last year are just enormous and inexcusable (the cameras on the Redmi note 17 pro are even worse than the 7 year old Redmi note 7 pro. That's just crazy bad for a phone that is eleven pro generations later as all 10 other models had way better cameras. This is truly shockingly bad). I assume the global variant will be a little better but it needs to be miles better even to compete with existing models.

I paid around this amount in 2023 for 1... morelpddr4x + ufs 2.2 8/256 gb cost about 200 dollars + low end cpu cost about 30-40 dollars or more. nand and ram companies were making costumer ram and nand. after ai boom they lowered customer demand and focused on ai data centers. blame sk hynix, samsung, micron. you will not see cheap devices until the ai bubble bursts. every device will priced as same as iphones in the future. cheap device era is closing. a lot of android companies (this can be applied to samsung (mx division) too) will stop making cheap devices and focus on flagships devices

RIP with those prices. 8GB of RAM for 256GB 600 euros? I paid around this amount in 2023 for 16GB of RAM and 256GB. This is ludicrous, and please don't tell me it's all about memory shortages, as it is most retarded excuse I heard entire year. AI does not need mobile RAM or And nand chips, so please stop saying some BS. It's just clear excuse to raise prices for phone makers to abuse AI situation and trick consumers simple as that.

The snapdragon 4 gen 4 can be compared to the snapdragon 695 that was released 5 years ago, performance wise...
In 2020, the Redmi note 10 was released at 199€.
You can really feel the chip shortage. Big price increase.

GSMArena's review are going to be really funny and not in a good way, as I doubt such Note 17 will have received extensive software optimisation to not be a lag machine.

just simply don't buy new phones around this point. be happy with current device u have and use it until it dies. never ever buy new phones not at this insane price. crap phones with such sky rocket price is a big red flag.
just look second hand flagship or midranger in olx, buy used flagship at best price. best performance so skip new phones and look for second hand phones if u really nees it.

You need to spend 100 to get 200 discount so you actually get 100 discount cause you spent 100 to get discount. So you cancel out the discount basically. And these companies are not dumb to give you discount without them getting profit. When you go to them with a phone that is worth less then 100 euro then you can get more then half of the phone price as discount as the phone you give them.
That return your old phone to get discount is still something where the shop get profit so in the end you as a customer actually don't win from it anything. They are not charity companies

If only AI didn't mess with consumer ram and storage, the prices were supposed to trend down. But as always, the west have to screw thing up.
