Anonymous, 27 Jul 2026Be wary, people. This will be the last Oneplus flagship to ever releaseBe wary of what when it's unlikely anybody outside of China will be able to buy the device, and if they decide to import one they'll no doubt know what they are buying.

Guys, it's not a secret or anything wtf are some of you talking about, this device is South-East Asia exclusive; only sold in China with exports to Japan,Taiwan, etc by Chinese e-commerce, like every other China-only phone.

And believe me it's not worth the headache importing this device to europe, india, US, etc.

notafanboy, 27 Jul 2026@Grok is OnePlus cooked as a brand?Yes, OnePlus is cooked as a global/Western brand — heavily diminished and retreating — but not fully dead yet.
What’s actually happening (as of mid/late July 2026)
                  • Official exit from North America and Europe: OnePlus confirmed it will no longer launch new products there. The OnePlus 15 is effectively the last new device for those markets. Existing users get continued software/security support and after-sales for the promised periods (with OPPO backing in some cases), but the brand presence is ending. Community sites in those regions are also shutting down.

ferwxc, 27 Jul 2026Wasting of time, few chineses and indians wil buy this. Rest of the world will buy Apple or Sa... moreI actually like my Oneplus 15. Upgraded from a Xiaomi 14t Pro and ColorOS feels like a really clean and well polished version of all the other Chinese OSs. It was really affordable and does everything I want from a phone. Plus, it has band 71 which almost every other Chinese phone excludes, so I get really good signal everywhere I go. It also has a decent battery and charges fast(with charger included!).
Overall, I don't see what there is to dislike about it, with 16 having a large battery upgrade, it seems like the only people that complain about these phones are people that still think anyone cares about their compressed phone pictures. Sorry a phone picture will always be seen as such and will never capture the same level of detail as a proper camera.
The other complaint being that they are leaving certain markets, but in reality, if you're buying a phone from this site, most likely the company has already left the market. Shouldn't Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei, Nothing, Vivo, Realme also all get dinged for the same reasons?
Overall, this is just my 2 cents. People take these phones way too seriously, at the end of the day most consumers are just swiping social media, casually playing a game, and texting/calling. We pick phones that match our lifestyle, but if you're getting a phone that doesn't it just becomes a waste of money, while at the same time we have to realize our lifestyle may not match with others and we may be an outlier

At a time when OnePlus is planning to existing all countries outside China, what is the point of this launch? Does it just want to compete with Huawei and Honor brands?

And you're telling the US market this... why? OnePlus has exited the global market and unless you want to go through the trouble of importing a OnePlus 16 directly from China, most people here are never going to own this phone.
