You should keep your Pixel 8 until Pixel 13 if you want to see any sizable upgrades, even that will be questionable if you get decent upgrades.

There is now more money to be made selling HBM to enterprises than ddr ram for consumers.

I think there is a class action lawsuit going on about this.

all what he can do is wait till near the end of the year, manufacturer will be forced by default to reduce their price to ready their stocks for the newer model
so he can just wait till that time, guaranteed he will get what he want without wasting any time arguing with these greedy companies
