With their enterprise product, there is NEVER a major y-on-y improvement for a reason. Stability oversees this. The same can be said for Linux distro that has aggressive update cycle vs longer update cycle. It a balance act of experiment cutting edge features or stablility.

Si/C is not a brand new technology, but an improved LiIon and brings a lot of improvements over the old technology. The ONLY reason Samsung and Apple don't use them is greed, because Si/C batteries are more expensive to produce.

veloce, 25 Jul 2026S26 despite being larger weight's same as S22.It does weigh the same. Still would only be interested in a base model that has the same weight and size as the S22. The leaked upcoming Pro will be the one to directly compete with other brands' 6.3"-6.4" base flagships, so it would make more sense for the next base Galaxy S flagship to go back to 6.1" imo

Samsung should just use si/c battery on their next base Galaxy S and shrink it back to 6.1". At this point, I don't even care anymore if it will have the same cameras as the S22 as long as it will be just as compact as that previous model because in today's market, every possible upgrade to the S22 is both bigger and heavier.
