It is a shame not to have upgraded these cameras for five years. As a matter of seriousness, both the main and the tiny 10MP telephoto cameras of the base and plus models should be upgraded. A 50MP telephoto will be okay, while the fan editions can be upgraded to the 10MP used in the current models.

S25USER , 24 Jul 2026Main is old primitive and bad ,5 Years this same Yeah, but it's also by far the most capable sensor on the S25 Ultra and not much worse than what others offer. So I'd rather see improvements elsewhere

But an upgrade is defnitely needed. I hope they make some 1/1.43 type sensor and use that.

I hope Samsung delivers real hardware upgrades across the entire S series next year, or sales will fall. Buyers who pay extra for the S expect noticeable improvements; without them, Other brands will keep gaining ground. The current camera hardware has been stretched long enough. Come on, Samsung, our whole family is behind you. S27!
IMO, next year will be a tipping point.
