Well, it is too expensive. Looking at it from a UK perspective, the main issue at this price point is that it’s only £99 cheaper on Motorola's website than the Signature.
Battery life aside, the Signature matches or beats the 70 Max in virtually every category, especially considering the UK is only getting the lower 8GB/256GB SKU for the 70 Max. On top of that, the Signature offers far better value with its bundled extras, coming with both Moto Buds and a Moto Watch.

If they ditched the base 8Gb memory option and instead went for a 12Gb and 16Gb, even keeping the price or upping it could be a major gaming phone. Low profile camera bump, massive battery, good chipset, quality display. They just misjudged the audience type for this phone

After every survey, the answer is usually: I would buy it, but not at this price.
All smartphone companies are offering us junk at the price of a piece of gold. And year after year, they are offering us bigger and bigger junk at ever higher prices.

Motorola has a inherent problem of software glitch.
As a result of green line issue on screen appears; where after warranty period company doesn't provide free replacement unlike one plus series which have lifetime warranty for green line issue....

Are we seriously judging the actual quality of cameras by the number of pixels now? Old Samsung and iPhone 12MP's will thrash the 50MP on these Moto phones. Moto makes shit cameras.
And yeah the pricing makes no sense either. Even Moto loyalists will feel hesitant to buy.
