AW, 22 Jul 2026The past couple of years, I have paid €105 per month for the 1TB version of Galaxy Fold 6 resp... moreWow. Why would you spend that kind of money on a silly telephone? 🤯

I agree, Samsung has definitely upgraded a lot of key things with the Fold8 Ultra, when compared to the Fold7, I even positively mentioned those features in one of my other comments, however they also upgraded the price without even thinking about the ancient 10MP sensor, that's the smallest on any current flagship, let alone any phone costing over $2000. It's simply unacceptable.
"This is what you don't get..You don't get me. Skip that I saw your interest...
You don't get a person that actually owns a Samsung and can string a original sentence together"
You know, or at least you would know if you ever actually bothered to JUST READ the comments, that a lot of people don't understand your comments, but sure your sentences are certainly original, that's for sure, however I'd rather not write anything the way you do.

Even Motorola Razr Fold costs €2000 and has the same 5000mah battery, while weighing 243g. And that has 8 Gen 5 too. And atrocious software experience.
Meanwhile Samsung adds SiC to batteries and increases battery while thinning the phone and weighing same, yet gets hate because people here have it hardwired in their brains to find flaws in anything they personally dislike.
The only thing that should have been better is the 10mp sensor. Rest I don't see any glaring issues with the "Ultra" tag.
Someone even said 5000mah as miniscule. They should know it weights

Flashback to 09/07/2025 and the previous iterations in 'Pricing details: Galaxy Z Fold7 gets pricier, Z Flip7 costs the same, the FE is cheaper than both'

"None of them are worth it at their prices, so it doesn't really matter that the FE is cheaper than both, when that in itself is also overpriced" 😱

Even with IJRIR and AI some comments are best just left to wither and die .... until the following year repetitive fictitious captious
Prediction/ aka SPOILER ALERT
This They are all insanely overpriced" won't be posted by him when Apples
Fold is released in September 2026? costing way way more but reasonably priced👌
Instant buy for me, traded my Fold 6, good job Samsung!
rob, 23 Jul 2026samsung at this point is so greedy anyway no one shud buy phones now and then its really brai... moreThere ar echoes at great prices in the 2nd hand market, I.e. where you find the true prices of phones. Back in the day they would not lose half their price tag in a year, now they do espec in foldables because their original procetsg is all foam, their price tag is a bit above the slabs
walkman8, 22 Jul 2026Absolutely insane price tags for what they offer Foldables were supposed to be the next gen of slabs, just how slabs how the next gen from the nokia types before.
Instead the companies quietly decided that people are happy with tiny screens and will forever be their main line (because slabs are optimized on the supply line) and foldables will forever remain a niche. That's the issue with cartels.
And I'm sure that we would have never got the slab if Applewas not to decide to enter jn 2007. We would still have nokia sysle tiny screens with physical keyboard underneath.
funny fact with that price tag you can get a decent gaming laptop or pc with 900-1000 usd and decent phone also with 500-700 usd and still have like another 400usd which you can get a home or handheld console
So many deals here in France and it's possible to try them in store. Meanwhile, overpriced Chinese foldables are ghost products you can only gamble online, mostly on unofficial import websites.
If only those Chinese brands weren't so completely incompetent and irrelevant outside of China...
KevinPhoenix, 23 Jul 2026Holding onto my Z Fold 7. It's basically the same phone.Nobody’s upgrading their phones yearly anyway.
samsung at this point is so greedy anyway no one shud buy phones now and then its really brainless and pointless buying phones often. use whatever phone u have for atleast 5 years until it becomes unusable. people are so blind that's why these companies are pushing phones every sec as if worlds gonna end now.

KevinPhoenix, 23 Jul 2026Holding onto my Z Fold 7. It's basically the same phone. All phones are essentially the same, aren't they? A rectangular piece of touch screen and a few cameras on the rear.
That said, the uneven numbers are usually the main hardware upgrade models by Samsung. The 8 is mostly refinements. It's got the antireflective feature like the non-foldables, it's got a slightly bigger battery. Slightly better cameras. Slightly thinner profile. So yeah, upgrading every year is not something people tends to do any longer. That was a 2010 thing, when every year was a massive change.
LOL. Look at the kids here complaining about the prices.
There are two types of people who will buy these.
First, is the rich old money who must have the most expensive model of something regardless. This is a delight, as now they can shame their friends using a cheaper older model.
Second is the suits, the business types. Having one device that can act like a mini tablet is worth the asking price, vs them having to lug two separate devices. Even better if the device can replace some laptop tasks as now they don’t have to carry their laptop either. A decent business thin n light laptop would’ve cost more than $1000 already. $2000 for this all in one device is actually a steal.
So yeah, the target market of this is not you kids playing ML. Stick to your cheap Pocos.
Anonymous, 22 Jul 2026Good luck selling these. Just wait till September for Apple to release the foldable. The same apple who will price their wide fold above $2000?
Popop, 22 Jul 20262 grands for a freaking phone ... Sorry, but no -_- ...Just think of it like two phones folded together. Then the price makes more sense. Two phones for the price of two!
Good luck selling these. Just wait till September for Apple to release the foldable.
