Pixel A series sounds to me like Fool Edition of Samsung.

I don't buy it, especially without a significant price increase, which Google would probably want to avoid as it would create redundancies. I would bet it'll have the g5 and going forward will be a year behind the other models, which is why the 10a was somewhat underwhelming keeping the g4 (as they wanted to also maintain their price, which is an often overlooked factor).

People have been disappointed by the 10a and it's honestly silly. Many (average) people buying it would rather have kept the g4 if it meant the g5 would be an extra $100. Yes really. Because for many, processing speed is not at all the major consideration these days as most people doomscroll, watch videos, and just take occasional pictures.

Regardless, if Google were smart they'd hardline at keeping the $500 entry price, which means compromises will need to be made and that's fine for most average people even if some enthusiasts are angry. The A series was never for them to begin with. For Google, that is their ticket to being a true alternative to Apple. I don't think they'll be able to compete with the strategy of jacking up prices and trying to match apple that way.

If the 11a does in fact have the newer chip and modem, and a new selfie camera. it will no doubt be plagued by huge bezels. In some ways, I get it. Why would anyone pay 2-3 times the price for the 11 or 11 Pro otherwise? Sure, you get better speakers, haptics and a telephoto, but the average user doesn't care about those things.

Featuring ARM's newest C1-Ultra and C1-Pro architectures, there is nothing more recent on the market. However, Google isn't aiming for raw power; otherwise, the brand would have integrated two ARM C1-Ultra cores into the G6's architecture.

Before I ever buy a Pixel; Google owes me $30 for the bum play codes they're selling. Many people on reddit have ordered various values in Google Play codes to redeem to their accounts and due to "Account Inconsistencies;" They get told they're screwed. They try to redeem to Google Play and get told they need more proof before they can redeem. I sent in a receipt both from a physical and online retailer and they told me because of these "account inconsistencies" that they could not redeem my codes. I asked what they were as I had no previous issues redeeming codes and they weren't allowed to disclose such information

Stop scamming and misleading your customers Google.

Any0ne, 18 Jul 20265100mah battery in 2026/27. Ridiculous Although most of us are used to perceiving battery capacity in mAh (milliampere-hours), US government agencies measure capacity in watt-hours. 5000 mAh battery in a phone Galaxy usually has a voltage of 3,88 V, resulting in a capacity of approximately 19,4 Wh. Exact calculation looks like this:

                          5000 mAh × 3,88 V ÷ 1000 ≈ 19,4 Wh

Most other brands that sell smartphones in the US have limited the battery capacity of their devices to around 5000 mAh. Phones Applu (17,87 Wh), Google (19,68 Wh), Motorola (20 Wh) or Sony (19,25 Wh) have similar capacities. The only exception is OnePlus, which offers a 6 mAh (000 Wh) battery on some smartphones. However, the Chinese brand uses a two-cell battery, in which no cell exceeds the aforementioned 23,22 Wh limit.

I hope Google solved the high battery drain issue. I mean who would buy a smartphone that needs to be plugged in more than once just to make it thru a single day. My S25U can more than make thru a day even when I am streaming Hogan's Hero on Pluto TV and still have left over gas in the tank at the end of the day and I just keep right on going using my S25U.
