60hz for a device that cost over $600 is insane. Can't they at least do 90hz? I'm sick of everything else having 120+ hz screen and this only having 60hz. The iPad mini sounds like the perfect device for on-the-go productivity, media consumption, and gaming but the one downside is the screen which is why I'm considering an 11-inch iPad Pro. I just want a cheaper and smaller version of the iPad Pro! I don't need the M5 chipset or whatever it's called!

Limiting a brand new premium product to 60hz really does sound like the most Apple thing to do, but I can only hope they're not that stupid when nothing else at this price has that limitation and thege been more happy to let the non top end models have better screens lately. An OLED Air could easily also mean the end of the Pro at least as we know it, either they'll discontinue it or do what they did with the 17 Pro and aim it much harder at the professional / power users.
Base iPad is unlikely to ever get a laminated screen because for the target market having the glass separate from the display panel is a real selling point.

With the rates of prices going up, the only thing left that's is somewhat reasonable to purchase will be the basic iPad after it gets an SoC refresh.
I have a feeling the iPad Air will jump to $999, and the new OLED mini will be $749 base.

I'd say 50% of people cant see the difference
30% feel it at first rather than seeing it, but adapt quickly and dont care
15% can see it but can live with it, as it is a second/third device
5% actually dont buy it/return it for that reason

Anyway for creative work android is better. It supports krita and blender software. But people can't see past procreate.

- atleast 120hz refresh rate (higher the better)
- fast processor, storage & RAM (flagship level)
- fast USB port (Thunderbolt standard)
With the power of Apple ecosystem, no Android tablet would able to beat this beast of a machine!
