"dropping its in-house Exynos chips for Qualcomm-made Snapdragon Wear Elite SoCs based on the 3nm node. This will likely boost not only performance but power efficiency as well"
Idk, till now, Exynos smartwatch chips had been pretty good, while it's been opposite for Qualcomm's - it's the opposite to phone SoCs.

Could we ever get a dual-architecture watch from Samsung? Or maybe something that isn’t fully Wear OS? If I could use Samsung Health and a few Google apps, that would be enough for me. Not sure about other countries, but in Latvia the Galaxy Watch8 was around 400 EUR new, and honestly that feels a bit too steep for an accessory....

2GB RAM? So, it'll be just as glitchy and sluggish as WearOS has always been. Hard pass. I miss Tizen; I miss when my watch was a watch *first,* not an afterthought. That's why I bought into Pebble's revival. My Time 2 gets 20 days of battery life and I don't miss a single Sammy or Google "feature."

Longer battery sounds nice, but it isn't free. A Garmin might last longer but barely has useful functions (for my needs)

Battery life must be at least 7 days of heavy usage. And without a LED light the Watch is useless. Garmin Fenix is my choice (too bad it doesn't support wireless charging).

I like everything they give except the battery, it's truly a trash experience with each other day recharge taking one hour.

I'm considering Huawei as my next smartwatch due to battery life
