Who gf is it crease-less when it's reflextive af?
N6/Fold6 all day long.
Foldable has its issues, and it greatest part of the folding is also the worst flaws. You decide what it is.
Having 2x Samsung foldable as daily drive, here's few things:
1. The phone comes unfold - for a reason see below
2. If you have the phone folded most of the time, the crease will become more visible than unboxed state after about a week
3. If you have the phone folded most of the time, the hinge overtime, will eventually cannot open perfectly flat (180). This is not obvious (depend on the generation. The older gen is actually eye visible)
This is physics, not matter how any vendor tries it. Which comes down to my opening - how you view this is entirely depended on you. When I first got mine, I also thought the crease will bother me, and when people around me see my phone for the first time they also ask about the crease. But turns out it didn't bother me as much as I though. And the crease is only eye noticeable at certain angle and if the display is dark/black images. And most of the time, you don't get to touch the crease part, unless doing hold scrolling of long content.
It took Samsung Display not few generations, but many(7 generations ) to figured out crease-less display
Wish they would just increase the battery instead of spending milions of $ on ironing out a crease
S Pen support?
DarlingYext, 13 Jul 2026Actually it was filmed with an iPhone 7/8/SE, that's why.Never have I ever thought that such usable camera hardware would be neutered with software updates, but here we are.
Reesta68, 13 Jul 2026Samsung doing an Apple by finally catching up with the crease-less display. Poor rage bait attempt, try harder. Apple would be nothing without Samsung and other in foldable space.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2026used another folding toy to film itActually it was filmed with an iPhone 7/8/SE, that's why.
CellphoneEnjoyer, 13 Jul 2026why is the video quality so dogs hit?used another folding toy to film it
The only thing they did was putting the hinge crease on the bezels
Reesta68, 13 Jul 2026Samsung doing an Apple by finally catching up with the crease-less display. Apple's foldable is made by Samsung, and Apple waited until Samsung can produce a creaseless foldable display before planning iPhone Fold.
That being said, all is good until the phone is used daily where the "default" state is folded, and the crease is bound to happen anyway.
So, what next? with this latest development are there no more foldables priced at $2000 or even $3000?
Reesta68, 13 Jul 2026Samsung doing an Apple by finally catching up with the crease-less display. Creaseless displays still had clearly visible crease, all be it a harder to spot one at times, this is unironaclly closest to true creaseless display.
Crease is not an issue. Its price. Launch 128gb, Snapdragon 7, Fold FE
