AI is treacherous, it sells your life to billionaires to become trillionaires and you jobless and poor.
That's... actually pretty insightful. I would hope that Samsung goes forward with this way of thinking, but keep in mind that they're still using Google for some of their AI functions. Google has very different views on user privacy.

YUKI93, 09 Jul 2026Just stick to copying Apple, TM Roh. You always do that rather too well.IFKR! When DJ Koh was running Samsung, their phones are worth getting, even against Sony. Since TM Roh took over, it's the other way around as Sony is now the much better phone, not least with the presence of the still-important headphone jack and microSD card slot.

Pensions and insurance money are being used in this artif... moreyou're right btw. these AI exaggeration and over hype must be stopped. and people shud stop buying phones often n shud make these companies taste their own medicine. no one should buy new phones anymore...so these companies will know whats the pain of cheating customers.

Just say:
- We will use poor, same, outdated and old cameras and let ai do it's thing without us doing any software optimization anymore.
- Let ai decide how to optimize apps and take care of your phone, not our problem optimizing apps for our devices, if your apps dont work, blame ai
- Let Ai optimize your battery so we can continue using same 5000 mah batteries on our 1400€ devices since 2020. If your battery drains, its ai fault
-We will continue using same and outdated chipsets, with poorly optimized software and let ai do its thing with chipsets and apps.
- When you get a Green line after update we dont care. It was ai fault for not cooling down your phone.

I just read this as how AI will farm our data disguised as "convenience", and then, with said data, will proceed into "suggesting" certain products in the first list of options, bc you know, we can never have enough ads.
If this is Samsung's plan, better steer clear from them. I dont expect people to push back, but I do expect them to do some blunder and having to roll it back at some point.
Honestly, I'm so tired of AI stuff and all these companies pretending its some "magic" solution to everything. They aren't improving their devices back to what they were and they are all expecting you to pay monthly to use these software tricks lol.
Maybe Apple "failing" at entering the AI race might be something good for them in the long run. Lets hope during these two quarters, more cracks start showing up on all those companies wasting money on this.
