Sorry Samsung, but I'm going with Honor! The stubborness (is that a word?) of Samsung not using Silicon Carbon batteries with more capacity, also the fact that they didn't include the 3rd camera on their Fold Wide... Absolutely ridiculous in 2026. I'm tired of this to be honest. I love what Huawei did with the Pura X Max, but US embargoes... meaning no snapdragon and no Google support, no 7 major Android updates...
So Honor it is! If this wide Honor phone will follow the steps of their newly released V6, this will be an amazing foldable, probably the best one we will have.

Why do all Chinese suddenly start making wide and small foldable phones? They should jump directly to even smaller and wider phones.

A wide and mini foldable is clearly the way to go, all the Chinese will follow once Apple does it, and next year it will be smaller too, and the Chinese will copy. 6,6inch wide mini foldable for a very small footprint in the pocket.

Finally the Chinese are waking up. They are devoice of new ideas and what for apple to find them. But they sure develop the best hardware once a new idea is launched elsewhere.
Honor will pribabaky do the wide foldabke properly so can't wait. Hopefully they won't be mini foldable and reach the 8 inch threshold just how the original (and only) wide foldabke (mi mix fold from 2021).
An 8 incher with 7-8 Ah battery would be a great start for a competitive wide foldable. And also proper cameras like vivo x fold 3.
