Anonymous, 29 Jun 20266 years? , this will lag to a standstill in a year max.I'm writing from that 6 year old phone right now and the performance is as snappy as it was when I bought it.
The secret is not installing useless background hog apps like Discord, TikTok and the likes and also not mindlessly upgrading to newer and heavier Android every year. I'm still on Android 10 and over these 6 years of use, I had no performance or battery life degradation.
When I see people throw a fit when their phone doesn't offer at least 6 years of Android and muh "security" updates, I want to laugh at their faces. What kind of baboon must one be to absolutely need their mystical "security" updates in an inherently sanboxed OS that Android is. Only an absolute monkey could break such sandboxed environment with their daily use. Oh well, I guess they can enjoy their CPU and battery hogging super modern OTA updates and other slop that comes with newer Android versions. To each their own...
