I am in the 3% of handheld console gamers, lol.
Actually i expect tablets to rank 1st place because i rarely game on my smartphone since a smartphone has a smaller heat dissipation system compared to a tablet, it generates more heat instantly but struggles to remove that heat as soon as possible away from both the chipset & the battery.
I somehow watch a certain YT video about future heat dissipation system particularly by the use of pure lab-grown diamonds as an effective heat sink. That would make smartphones, tablets & other devices of this build, way more cooler but much more expensive if it ever hits the market or, at least, become a common standard in heat dissipation system of all future tech gadgets. Still promising, but i think it's really going to happen very soon. I'll still really love it for sure! 👍🏻💪🏻😍
Just for if this pole is done again in the future, I don't think that PC handhelds like the steam deck legion go and rog Ally are the same thing like handheld consoles such as the Nintendo switch to and Playstation portal.
MontyTech, 28 Jun 2026Gsmarena asking on a SMARTPHONE oriented website/forums regarding what device most you use ...... moreBy revenue mobile is slightly bigger than PC and console combined. So smartphone being first is not a surprise. Tablets being so high is interesting.
Well here we go. Smartphones are just always with us, powerful enough already and can also do almost everything that even a PC cant.
And my Redmagic's even worth it cause it has dedicated cooling system which is more like a hybrid of a handheld console, a smartphone and a PC as it can emulate x86 games already too with good fps.
Actually, there are more mobile gamers than that. Free Fire and PUBG are some of the most downloaded games in the world, having already reached 1 billion downloads. Smartphone gamers are just insane big and people love battle royale games.
Expected results. Casuals are the prime clientel of this website.
That said, mobile gamers arent real gamers, and mobile games arent real games.
I have a flagship phone and a flagship tablet and a flagship laptop but I rarely play any games.
OmerKing916, 28 Jun 2026Yet I still hear people say gaming on a phone isn't real gaming...I voted for smartphone, but i still think that smartphone isn't for gaming, when i get PC someday i will play on it because i think PC is the best for gaming IMO.
Gsmarena asking on a SMARTPHONE oriented website/forums regarding what device most you use ... shocking. Ask on Discord, PCgamer and other places. And check results. I mean I also voted for smartphone.
[deleted post]Though I personally game on a pc I think gaming on smartphones makes a lot of sense these days, you got one one you all the time, they take up zero room in comparison to other options and the game library keeps growing, it's also generally the most affordable option, games are significantly cheaper, if paid at all.
It's not for me, but I grew up with PC's being the main thing, doesn't mean people who grew up with smartphones or handheld consoles are considered casual that's just a childish take.
That explains why mobile games are lighter than desktop ones, despite how predatory they are.
Pedantic? I'm talking about mobile ports that downsized it's bulk installation by 33% not those "love baiting" Games in general.
OmerKing916, 28 Jun 2026Yet I still hear people say gaming on a phone isn't real gaming...Yes, the same as a toddler running after a ball isn't called he's playing football.
"Game" is a strong word for Candy Crush xD
You would think on here you can find more sophisticated people. You guys are a bunch of casuals.
