They should have launched the ultimate edition as the only version for $100. It is said to be the first AAAAA game and probably offer significantly more gametime than any other game. The free roam map seems massive from the leaks. You can even go inside lots of buildings.
Creating a 'standard' version which strips away the soul of the game just invited unnecessary bad reputation on top of the delay. $100 or 10000inr was what I had mentally prepared to pay. Fortunately it's cheaper in India at 7500 for ultimate edition.
I think they will launch discs after the initial hype. It will probably take 5-6 discs minimum though.

I have enough games to last me for a lifetime. I have over 22TB of Steam game data. Some on a Avolusion PRO-T5 Series USB 3.0 20TB HDD and the rest on another Avolusion PRO-T5 Series USB 3.0 22TB HDD. I can run the latest Doom, Latest Halo, Red Dead Redemption 2 and the latest Harry Potter game from those portable Avolusion PRO-T5 Series HDD just fine.
its basically free on two channels, walkthroughs on youtube and the open seas! hope everyone can save their 100 bucks
The ending of the game will be tragic
Anonymous, 25 Jun 2026Paying for entertainment was a mistake for you? Weird. If it's entertaining and made for the game fans then sure i understand the supporting them with our wallets. But all that have gone around them lately is the part that the game will most likely be broken and also is more oriented to entertain this so called modern audience that don't exist and don't bring numbers while lose numbers on old existing fandom
Perfect example is in the end of the 2025 year Amazon pick up TV Series to make as Stargate that be in canon and have just a time skip to the future with new stories.
Now like a month ago when they had already writing team assembled and were expecting to start filming in this year fall the show got canceled cause the show will be pleasing too much of it's existing fan base and that is not their aim on the entertainment to please the customers.
The thing is that it's same with games too. First games come out in beta stage and then after few years they close the servers down cause the game can't be fixed so the players also can't play the games cause it's always online.
Better to wait when this game come out then look reviews of it and then if can pirate to see how the game run on your hardware and if you like the game then buy it.
I am from the era where we had game demos as the demo was meant to test your hardware to see if the game run smooth and then if you like the game you buy it.
I don't do preorders and i am not buying games from the official stores cause the base game cost in there as much as i get the game with season pass from all sorts of sites like buycdkey and the like sites
Do grown ups actually sit and play these games? I find them soooo boring. Nothing better to do??
Expensive but if it has play value and takes 20-100 hours to play then it would be great. Better than those battle royale style games any way. Also really tired of those skyrim clones and god of war clones.
I'll download the cracked version, do the walkthrough of the story and delete it. Thanks
80€ to rent an unfinished game, or 100€ to rent the complete version.
No thanks.
I would consider that price for a proper physical edition. For a garbage download? Absolutely not.
Rockstar can shove it. This will be the 1st GTA ever that I won't buy. Because I can't. It's not available for sale.
And I'll be long dead before I accept to rent games.
Anonymous, 25 Jun 2026I remember paying $50 for console video games, and I thought it was expensive even back then.Do you realize that product prices are more expensive over time?
gta vll for 2031 or 2036 year or rip
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2026lol no chance, in a few years maybe. Can't wait for cr@ck version
Why on earth do we need another GTA? We already have GTA V and if I wanted Miami Vice location I would just play that and ran it through DLSS 5 filter and saving tons of storage space in the process. I can even do it on my phone now.

$80 isn't too expensive, considering this is the most anticipated game of the decade.
GTA isn't the kind of game you finish in just an hour; you can explore the map, complete side missions, play online, and so on activities that can easily take up hundreds of hours. I think the price is pretty reasonable.

Completely expected price. But not that I care, as I will definitely wait until it's cracked.
Only game I bought in the last 15 years was GTA V, and I could have waited to pirate it. Not making the same mistake again.
