The Android Freak, 22 Jun 2026CMF Phone 2 Pro had two functional cameras at far lower price points. Yep, 50 MP main cam, 50 MP telephoto cam, 8 MP ultrawide and 16 MP selfie cam. This was actually a pretty decent camera setup for a $250 smartphone.

So it will be a generic, basic overpriced phone that will have absolutely nothing special about it.

Well as a budget phone with budget price should cost not more than 150-200 eur.

Majority of mid range phones and lower have effectively 1 camera anyway. The ultrawide usually is low quality (eg no 4K video), making it unused most of the time. The rest, we know they're useless (macro, color sensor, depth sensor, etc).

Memory prices have increased manifold due to AI surge. Due to this reason smartphone prices have also increased by all brands. It is better to have a single functioning camera in my opinion than to have two low resolution small sensors. It will help cost cutting to make the prices competitive in the current market.
