I don't think any folding phone is really going to work out well due to the inherent physics of having a flexible screen. If apple releases one it'll be just the same as the others, and if they don't release one at all, then they are protecting their identity.

For now people still seem to want to carry both an iPhone and iPad. I doubt Apple want's to cannibalise iPad sales, it's the same reason they won't make an iPad with MacOS. They want you to buy everything they make separately!

Lin's talking about the vanilla 18 and 18e being pushed to spring. We've already known that rumor for months. The fact that analysts think that the Fold also got delayed is laughable, since that would mean Apple would only be launching the 18 Pros this year.

Yani, 16 Jun 2026As I have said several times before: You need to be really aggressive with your fingernail to ... moreI've had 3 different z folds going back to z fold 2 and wife has had a couple of flips. Never had a single scratch on the inner display. I always clean with a microfibre but I've seen my wife rub hers clean on her jeans and still no scratches. I think the plastic cover maybe self heals little micro scratches like those wet application plastic ones.
