1. That kind of test stress only cpu or only GPU at time not all of them together + other components, hence it's not good measure of real life sustainable clocks. You know Geekerwan already, there is other guy like Geekerwan called Xiaobai techreviews, only in Chinese but he shows clocks speed behaviour in most games he tested in his reviews, around 2ghz it's phones with best coolers, most phones can't even sustain 2ghz.

2. Xiaomi is master of cheating in those kinds of benchmarks you list. What they do is limit peak perfomance, assume soc is capable of scoring 4500 or 5000 what they do is limiting perfomance to 4000 so when soc throttle to 3000 percantage wise will show sustainable score is good.

This'd be a no brainer if it had hardware AV1 decode.

If properly schedulded, these kind of Medium cores can sustain near 3ghz without any problem.
      Here is D8500 with 8 A725 1x3,4ghz, 3x3,2ghz and 4x2.2ghz built with TSMC's 4nm :
      https://www.gsmarena.com/poco_x8_pro-review-2946p4.php

Do you really think 4 C1-Pro up to 2,4ghz still in 4nm will be a problem ?
If it is it's more a problem of scheduling to save energy than throttling.

Anonymous, 29 May 2026I just hope Mediatek not doing some crazy U-turn and make Dimensity 7600 with A78The 4*A78 should be shifting over to D7100 (repalcing the D7020,7050 etc)
But i don't see much room for it unless they're doing D7120.7125,7130,7150,7160

Good thing is also 2*A78 might finally replace 2*A76 D6000 which should never have been a thing

ARM claims +16% on C1-Pro compare to predecessor A725, true it can be discussed ! Because it's not linear...but at the end of the curve, it's definitively true

Looks the CPU is even better than the D7400. But I want to see 2+6 core models like the D7200 or D7050.

With 2+6 core design, as it opts more on better power efficiency, but more room to add more GPU cores (as I think with 4+4 core have less space for GPU) and that's fine.

Specifically to Unity games that heavily relies on 2 heavy threaded processes for the CPU, makes I assume its very efficient.

The rest, its all fine with 4+4 cores on most games relies in multi-threaded (like Unreal)

                                  Part of experiment I think
