On most things Dimensity 9xxx is very close to 8 Elite...sometimes even a bit better (ray tracing for exemple).
And on one thing, Dimensity destroys Snapdragon : video codec ! Try to use Capcut and to encode a video, you're Snapdragon will be humiliated, Dimensity will finish the job when the Snap reach only 60%.
That's why lasts Galaxy Tab get Dimensity instead of of Snapdragon.

An AI LLM marketing again. Well, since it has an NPU inside, its technically to say in the slide.
You must mention about MFRC for games instead, as it relies on the NPU (but not all games have willing to support them, nor the device model if they have).
Anyway, D8550 isn't that a bad chip as a rebrand. We'll see the D8600 an upgrade (a bit)

Is this the first time you've heard of MediaTek? Besides, Dimensity processors are quite suitable for mobile gaming. They're no longer just for casual users who only use their phones for short periods of time, as they used to be.
