If you get the FE version, be prepared for no signal issues - I've learned my lesson - I'll never get another FE phone. I live in the center of the city and yet I need to keep my phone at the window in order to get phone calls and also be understood by the person I'm talking to . Horrible experience. Also, I have a contract (not a prepaid sim) - why is the mobile data turning off when I have a phone call ? That's so annoying

Samsung tends to have pretty competitive B2B and carrier deals, so just like the 17e (and in a lesser respect the Pixel 10a) this won't have any trouble selling. Specs don't matter in that market, as Apple has shown by using a 60hz display.
Anonymous, 27 May 2026What is your definition of budget phones? Using flagship SoCs?SOC with a way inferior cooling system that causes it to heat up like a frying pan. Never falling for that scam again.
Reporter: So, what's the concept behind FE - Fan Edition?
Same-song Rep: We have aah no clear idea what FE stands for. First we make Note 7 FE with smaller battery to sell remaining Note 7 units after the fire incident. Then FE disappeared, then we thought let's make a random comeback. But with random comeback you need random specs. So, when S20 had Exynos, we made S20 FE with Snapdragon. Total random, because randomness is over fandom-ness. Some random screen size change, some battery big or small.
What can be more random than a random phone? No phone! So, with S22, we have no S22 FE. Then with S23, randomness strikes, and we have S23 FE but this time, Snapdragon vs Snapdragon, we keep FE one gen behind! Random!
Sometimes, our director says make it RE, Random Edition, but we aah have nott clear clue, so let it be FE only. Then we only say to director, develop some vision bro! Since then FE is Fan edition, but maybe it is Fan Economic Edition, we don't know, coz its cheaper? But director says, FE is also fat edition, because FE is always heavy! But how can we the big brand come to fat shaming so I say, ok silence!
Towards the end one thing is clear about the FE edition:- that, nothing is confirmed about the FE edition.
Please avoid uncomfortable/ emotion questions! Next Question please...
Anonymous, 26 May 2026Hopefully no chinNah, there's probably still a chin because... consumers are dumb & they'll buy anyways 🤣

How boring are these FE tablets and smartphones...
So basically what the S25FE should’ve been (the actual S25FE was more like a rebranded S24FE).
Samsung basically will be using 1 generation older SoC for the S FE series vs the regular S series.
Here’s hoping it will get some design cues from the A57 for a lighter and less bulky design.
S26 FE still 8GB RAM?? A57 is better with 12GB RAM. Scamsung strike again.

I can't believe this is what it looks like, what a revolutionary design. The bottom bezel is so thin it's barely visible 🤯
Anonymous, 26 May 2026Samsung Galaxy S20FEv6 lmaoAccually S20FEv5. There was no S22 FE.
Anyone else miss their "Lite" naming scheme? I just feel like this FE is more of a budget name
fe now act as reuse and rebrand, then up the price
Samsung missed opportunity to showcase its 2nm prowess it would be the best to say that they're back and stable, very poor utilization Exynos in the right price range would be a great value but not on top of the class lineup yet, imean everyone stills buy a pixel compared to tensor even upper midrange SoC can outclass it
