You could not ask those chatbots financial questions of your personal account even if you wanted to.

They are not forced to user but they are there as icon in corner of the app/site or help center

We all know there are peoples who'll connect their financials and it's enough of them for gpt to work on it and make it more appealing for others once the tech is matured you'll start seeing it everywhere and at some point eventually falling for it too that's how apple pay google pay or samsung pay got normalised.

Today I tried buying 4 items from a website. The website totalled the order. Then it wanted me to verify each part of the order. And each time I did this it charged me the orders total amount. If I had not stopped and contacted the credit card people and got it stopped I would have paid four times the cost of the order.
This was just one simple transaction. I have autocomplete and AI switched OFF everywhere in every application on this iPad, because I never use it. I have it disabled in my browser too, yet as I type this it still tries to complete words anyway, or stops typing and goes to search when it cannot understand correct punctuation.
So giving your financial details to a chatbot ? You must be joking!
