In about 2 minutes the battery will be charged to about 40% depending on battery capacity, while the 30W will be about 10%. So nope, what you think is not quite true. Anyway what i have said before, is referring to true 120 W charging, not setups where multiple cells are charged in parallel with, say, 60 W or 40 W each depending on the battery count. In those cases, we’re talking about a different implementation altogether. Even then, charging will still throttle to a safer level for the battery. I can see you might not have researched this deeply, so maybe do a bit more research first and then share your opinion, instead of “blindly contradicting.” 😊

However, we know that's not the case.

Pumpino, 11 May 202618W is considered "fast charging"?You confuse "fast charging" with "super fast charging" or" PD fast charging" or "hyper charge" or whatever other names manufa turers give to their implementations this days. 18W is actually still the golden standard for relativ fast charging and keeping battery safe and long lasting. Now slowly being raised to 30W that still drops down to around 20 and less after c.a 30 mins.
While chinese brands trash the batteries with their proprietary hyper chargers, even they decrese speed drastically after less the a minute or two to the safer 20 to 30W especially when the device overheats.
So, calling something 120w does not mean that it also constantly deliver 120w. I am yet too see a device that took in full power from charger without throttling after a few minutes

AntiPlannedObsolesce, 11 May 2026So consumers think there's some big hardware behind it all. That is the main problem of consumer’s demand nowadays…people expect camera islands like this, I mean basically people don’t care about phone’s design these days.

Maintaining camera islands like the ones you said would make a smartphone look way better. That is why phones then looked way more beautiful than it is nowadays, at least in my opinion.

If they need to balance their devices when laid flat, a pill camera island in the center, like the Nokia 8, would make sense. Or even better, keeping the lenses flush would at least feel like a mutual agreement between HMD and Wingtech, since Nubias have been maintaining that for years, and a thicker phone would naturally be more ergonomic.

There's no point in swelling the rear top half, even if it's Wingtech's choice for this season's slabs.

They could've easily made this "original" by removing that unnecessary camera island. The pricing will decide whether this is viable, though.
