Don't last more than 1 year. Crap quality for weird software experience called stock useless android. I paid 1300$ for pixel 9 pro fold . As soon the warranty was over front display is gone. It doesn't respond.

I said pixel is useless for gaming and thats stands. CPU benchmarks are years behind qualcomm snapdragon or latest mediatek flagships.
Tensor is known for overheating issues and flaming batteries.
Also a phone in 2026 which have only 5200mAh cell and take more than hour to charge battery is a mEh.
Many chinese phones with even much bigger batteries takes much less time to charge.
Only good think pixel have is a camera and even said camera is just inch above average.

I was a Sam... moreSorry bro flaming batteries arent my forte and since i tryed a phone which takes 10 minutes to charge aka Motorola edge 40 pro and now sports Motorola edge 50 Ultra wouldnt go back to anything slower.
Phone which takes 2 hours to charge to full is useless for me because when you are in hurry charging for 5 minutes pixel device wont help you and carry a powerbank with u is another stupidity.
So you can like it but is definitely not for me.
But feel free to try a reasonably priced flagship with 125W charging speeds or above you wont return back to pixel phones.
For a 2026 they are too slow, ram is too low, battery is too weak and charging speed is worse than speed of a sloth. No thanks.

As far as I know, Pixel has only been super popular in Japan, and thats mostly because Android options over there are, well, until recently not that good.
In the US, its there but not there at the same time. Their weakest part right now is that stupid Tensor CPU.
Sure, you dont need the fastest CPU on your phone, but the Tensor on top of not being the fastest, it is painfully inefficient leading to bad battery life, on top of reported heating issues. And so far, the "custom design" that Google justified for its existence has played no purpose on daily usage or in providing a big feature thats exclusive to Pixels.
Might as well use an Exynos if they are so against using SD

The $250 price discount just shows how much they earn on a full price. What are the manufacturing cocsts? $100-200?
Funny thing is that for price of the discount I have a used Pixel 8 in perfect condition and the phone is more than enough for 99% of users. Just change the battery after 800 cycles and you are good to go for another 3 years.

17 ultra by xiaomi or Motorola signature way better deal for less money than this Pixel. pro XL.Many else chinese phones are much better.
With its specs the Pixel pro XL should cost not more than 600 euros and smaller one up to 400 to be reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, the Pixel 9 Pro has pretty terrible thermal performance as well. The Tensor G4 chip appears to be kicking out quite a bit of heat that quickly saturates the cooling capacity of the phone and results in aggressive thermal throttling. This happens very shortly under a sustained stress load, and the phone is left with severely crippled performance.

But camera hardware they need to upgrade. Also, modem. These two things will make things perfect for Google Pixel 11 Pro XL at 1299. For 12+256GB. But give an free upgrade. Generally during these times, all issues are ironed out and mostly custom roms are also available. So good time to buy Pixel.
