Scientist already proved that they're able to use your wifi router to draw the complete 3D map of the inside of your house. Having a screen that can act as a "camera" to watch you 24/7 is a privacy nightmare.

Seriously, I've never put any trust on those "medical feature" gimm... moreI don't "count" on these biometric features, but they are handy.
My first smartwatch was in 2018. I noticed it tracked my heart rate
so I started wearing it to bed. I noticed my heart rate at times when
SLEEPING would pop up into the 90 beats per minute range. Mentioned
and showed it to my doctor during a yearly checkup and the doctor put me
on a sleep study which showed I had minor/moderate sleep apnea. I've been
on a CPAP ever since and the HR never goes above 55 at night now.
So, I didn't "depend" on it but used it like any other tool and talked to my doctor
about it.

Can't say I'm using the HR sensor much on my S10+ but it's a cool trick. The best thing about having this sensor is actually that the blue LED is also used as an indicator when reverse wireless charging is enabled. (Though I'm not sure what the other purpose of the blue LED even is, since the HR sensor uses a red LED and there are no other functions that utilise a blue LED. In fact, I found out there is actually another LED which is green. The only way I can get it to even light is by going into the test menu from the dialer, then on "SENSOR" and "EOL TEST", which makes all three LEDs light up at once. So if anyonehas any idea what the other two lights could be for, let me know)

Seriously, I've never put any trust on those "medical feature" gimmicks. Just buy a proper tool for the task. I got a cheap Omron device at home more than a decade ago and it is muuuch more accurate than any smartphone sensor.
