Now merge them together with Oppo and bring back global sales. Especially to Europe. I miss both of these brand here. Havent had a new OP since 11 in official stores. And only Chinese Roms sell in 3rd party stores which are in gray area. Like yes i can get op 15 and 15r locally but not global roms

Being a realme user for 7 years and finally decided to go to oneplus this year turns out I am not switching brands anymore

OneOlus has Y employees.
Now a team with number of employees lower than X + Y , will be working for both. Also sales will be online only, while oppo phones available at physical stores.

Nothing is an independent company founded in UK with zero involvement of BBK (zero investment or ownership).

I hope people realize that they were always the same company? Just like Nothing Phones, oppo and vivo. Its all own by BBK Electronics.
Of course on the surface its all marketing gimmick starting Carl Pei, as "uuuu! Look Im one guy! Im starting phone company! We have fancy colored cables or leds on the back"
Its all just to push sales outside Chinese market, as Oppo and Vivo always had hard time to get sales outside of it.
They pretty much do the same as Xiaomi with Poco or Redmi but just with more marketing gimmicking and brand advertising.
