Huawei definately has time machine. That is why they are able to copy Apple.

Or just Apple copy Huawei and then marketing does their jobs and inform everyone else they are the first.

In my eyes Pura X is like a Flip Wide, so it's a clam shell design.
Pura X Max and iPhone "Ultra" are book style design, meaning the orientation is different.

It was a clam shell design but in wide. This new Pura X Max and iPhone Ultra or whatever name is are sharing the same design in the same form factor. So they are both book style and wide.

We are talking about design over here. We don't have to win every time for our "team".
Or do we? I don't know. I thought we are just sharing opinions in here. Some people are trying to project every single negative thing from their life onto one or two (phone brands in this case) and it can really shows from the comments.
Phone companies have the most hard core "users" on the market.

You think Apple has only been planning this recently 😄. These Chinese companies try to copy apple and go to market as quick as they can then when apple finally releases something, they go on to shameless levels of making knock offs.

While Huawei were the 1st to intreduce such a layout last year... and just made it slightly bigger this year :)
Looks like Samsung were the 1st to fallow as they are leading the foldbles scene.

Did they bring the Foldable to market? Nahhhh! So none of their "working on a foldable" rumors matters.
The IPhone's foldable has nothing on the competition.
They just waited for hardware component costs to get cheaper.
While Chinese brands brought the much needed innovation and can be considered the actual pioneers of the segment with Samsung being given credit for bringing them first into the market.
Apple isn't capable of delivering the latest tech or innovativing when it comes to iPhones.
That's the hardcore truth that nobody can deny.

I know the Ultra is a dummy model, but why is it so difficult to line up both phones without the extra hand movements? Put them down, line them up and don't touch them so we can see the actual difference or line them up and keep your hands steady. I've also noticed people do not turn the normal foldables horizontal when they compare it to wide folds. Why is that? That's how many people use their fold.
It looks like the Pura Max is slightly more rectangular vs. the Ultra and Galaxy Wide. Probably not enough to make a meaningful difference.
