Never buy any BBK phones for gaming as they are locked to 60 FPS by default and only support higher frame rates if there's a specific agreement with the game developer.

I guess it could have had atleast one stick for movement.

Superpower2030, 29 Apr 2026What decoration? Try looking up reviews of the latest coolers from blackshark or redmagic. I'm not talking that the cooling system is useless. It lacks even analog sticks, has only four wireless connection buttons, and with the bulky dedicated case attached, it won't fit in your pocket. If you're going to use it at home, you'd be much better off playing games on a dedicated handheld gaming console with an integrated controller.

Furthermore, it's ridiculous that you have to take it out of the controller-shaped case every time you want to use the camera. It's a defective product, both as a smartphone and as a gaming device.

Sounds good but where is the LCD monitor?
I like everything about it except the high price and the mediocre OLED display.

YUKI93, 29 Apr 2026MediaTek chips aren't best known for mobile gaming though.Agree on this, as an IT, overall and all rounder performance and compatibility goes to Snapdragons because they're dev friendly. Dont get me wrong Mediatek's DM series are all very powerful and efficient too.

But due to Mediatek mostly closing their doors for their codes/drivers to devs, this is why the newest power hungry emulators only works on Snapdragon chips mostly. So do other AAA games with specialized optimizations(like more than 60fps, frame generation+DLSS like features).

Well, if you really need a TRUE gaming smartphone why not just get a RedMagic 11Pro or the much cheaper 11Air right? Those two has decent enough rear cameras but true cooling systems too and are durable.

Not sure why after ROG Phone died out why all these Chinese OEMs are putting fans on their devices and releasing psuedo gaming devices ala RedMagic but, its just a year old marketing gimmick they're trying this year only to be thrown out next year. RedMagic already owns the gaming market niche though.

if they keep it up for a little while other brands might have to close shop or have to get taken over by some big company. Apple and Huawei can afford to eat up the losses of lower prices despite higher costs, i dont think others can.

It'd be interesting to see how the market looks in 5 years as the price hikes are immense. I thought 1 tb 24 gb would be base storage by now but it's a massive luxury.

You're right, the storage tiers have a big gap in pricing compared to the last couple of years. Sales are down in China in the first quarter (even though there are still up to 500rmb government subsidies). Apple and Huawei did relatively well in the first quarter. Actually they are the only brands that haven't increased prices yet but I don't know if that's a reason for their decent first quarter sales or not

The newly launched phones are really experiencing large price hikes in China. Existing OPPO phones have mostly increased prices by 500rmb from their original launch prives too. Oneplus 15 increased the price by 500rmb from launch too but on third party sellers you can still get the Oneplus 15 for the same price as this

None of their chips now are worth over qualcomm.

                                    6xxx series = with old A76 cores
7xxx = rebeanding of each other
8xxx = useless overclock of each other
9xxx = power hungry that needs 7000mAh to score over 16h here
