It'll probably still support the MagSafe / Qi2 protocols like Samsung phones have been doing for a couple years now, just you'll need a case with magnets in it for the magnetic attachment. Good news is 99% of them will have magnets, meaning the lack of built in magnets on the phone is only going to affect YouTubers and the 6 people stupid enough to use a $2000+ phone without a case on it.

So not only are they copying the... moreAtleast, the Find N2 provided a proper triple camera setup, and did not skip it like Apple has.
Samsung is the worst when it comes to copying.
They are working on a smaller N2 style foldable, coz they knew Apple was working on a small form-factor foldable.
They plan to release it alongside the regular Z Fold 8.
Although, I'm sure Samsung will do a better job there, the same way they made a better thin and light phone than the iPhone Air.

So not only are they copying the design from Oppo, they are also copying the hinge mechanism.

Udim, 24 Apr 2026the 1 mm smaller notch and dark cherry color will make all the apple sheep buy itThe cherry color will probably fair better than those boring black/white colors they had before.
If you got that little taste to be bland and pick black, might as well not get the Pro to begin with. Get a cheap Motorola and move on
So the Foldable is already a downgrade compared to Android foldables since it only has two cameras.
My guess is that they will be tiny sensors as usual to save costs and make the device lighter.
That can't possibly be their foldable...
It's neither a proper flip-phone, nor a proper foldable.
It is still a pro max sized screen horizontally. Just vertically taller. watching a movie (commonly 21:9) will be no better
Looks even uglier than the 17 Pro Max. It's as if they are trying to create the ugliest phone in the world.
Amazing as usual!
So to make dummies of a new iPhone, just use the current phones as blueprint because it will be 99,99% exactly the same.
I think the extra screen size provided by the iPhone Ultra is just too small
No magsafe?
Also, no way this iPhone "Ultra" foldable only has the 2 same back cameras setup as the base iPhone..
I suspect, the reason of dropping magsafe suport is space limitation. If Apple fits the function inside, the phone will get thicker. This is Apple's first foldable afterall.
