Ugly
What's the point? The retro handheld market is already fully saturated from dirt cheap to premium ones.
and it runs android? lol what a waste. if it can't play REAL games aka PC games, then it's DOA.
millsers.mp3, 08 Apr 2026I feel like they should leave gaming phones solely to nubia, brand of ZTE.I'll take a Retroid Pocket 6 with sd card slots, built-in controllers (xbox or PS layouts of choice) and headphone jacks for cheaper price than a Redmagic numbia phone which only caters to premium segment. If it wasn't for Sam Altman, they would still be selling the now sold-out (and won't be restocked) 12gb model at less than 300 usd.

And they span multiple price segments and models.
Anonymous, 08 Apr 2026A gaming handheld with cameras?Gaming handheld. Also known as phones with physical buttons. They don't even need to change the design. Take one of opposite phone slap a controller and sell it twice as much, because somehow this is a new product now.
A gaming handheld with cameras?
DOA with Dimensity
Looks heavy RIP lil hands

mawlki, 08 Apr 2026You are ok with playing games on android?? What's wrong with phone gaming? My friend with a ps5 and pc can't play his games anywhere.
And phones are evolving to the point where even some PC games are able to be played on them.
Just no to paid android games like FFXV Pocket edition whose devs forgot to update and made compatible to run on newer Android OS.

mawlki, 08 Apr 2026You are ok with playing games on android?? Of course, emulator games to be precise.. most Android games are pay-to-win. It's very rare for developers to want to bring triple-A games to Android.
Although I don't like Snapdragon and Qualcomm for their monopoly on the market, but using an 8E or 8E5 would be better since they can handle emulations better, even emulate PC games. Dimensity is just quite behind the Snapdragons, and even behind the overheating Exynoses in emulating and graphical rendering.
mawlki, 08 Apr 2026You are ok with playing games on android?? Emulation is huge. I have a device with SD 8 gen 3 and in runs really well everything up to PS2/Wii and runs many Switch gamed well too. Another thing is Windows emulation. I had no issues running games from the previous decade like GTA 4 or Far Cry 3.
Also many of the modern indie games have native android ports like Slay The Spire or Balatro.
So yes, you actually have pretty huge game catalog you could run on Android with minimal effort.
I don't know what to say. Gaming handheld?? With camera?? Or simply a Smartphone?? My Anbernic RG476H doesn't even have a camera at the back and it runs on Android. WTF OnePlus thinking?? Gaming handheld are meant for gaming. Focusing on gaming not want to take pictures ๐๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
