But for the lack innovation, for the lack of upgrades, for 900$ and for reusing the same parts for years now, they are effectively trash. For 900$ you should get tons of NEW flagship features which these phones dont offer.
You could as well buy an S24 or S23 and save tons of money while having almost the exact same experience.
We must appreciate Samsung for being environmentally responsible. They provide longer software support, reuse same hardware for next generation and provide less of a reason for people to upgrade unnecessarily every year or two.
Just upgrade every 5 years and enjoy your Samsung flagship.
diside, 04 May 2026I'll stick with my S25. It's quite big and not so easy to operate with just one hand... moreJust how small is your hand that you find a device as small as s25 hard to use with one hand? I don't believe it.
Remember, never get scammed by Exynos, every year reviewers say it's good now, every year users report battery issues, heat and delayed updates
S26 camera is really bad... Details better on 25, but these are still poor photos...This is not flagship quality... xiaoimi, vivo or base iphone takes better pictures. Samsung, what's going on with you??
I'll stick with my S25. It's quite big and not so easy to operate with just one hand but it's the smallest flagship at the moment and S26 is even bigger.
I Just Read, 04 May 2026It's not about what iteration is best, it's another opportunity to fabricate about y... moreBoth the Xiaomi 17 and vivo X300 have way larger batteries, and with that way better battery life than the S25/S26, they both have faster wired and wireless charging, they have significantly better cameras and better higher resolution 10-bit displays. Literally every feature of those two phones is better than anything the S25/S26 can offer, that's why I didn't just highlight one feature as if that was the only difference.
DarlingYext, 03 May 2026Yeah, the vivo X300 and the Xiaomi 17 easily beat them, and with the vivo you even get double ... moreIt's not about what iteration is best, it's another opportunity to fabricate about your #1 Samsung
All comment are a list of likes and dislikes Xioami wasn't even spared even though the CEO announced why it went to '17' skipping 16 still a running 8 month tsunami of post copying Apple nothing ever on the article nobody would mistake 'Xiaomi 17' for 'Apple 17' https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_17_pro_and_pro_max_pair_snapdragon_8_elite_gen_5_with_extra_screens_improved_cameras-news-69666.php
Pick one feature and highlight that as if it were the only difference. Nobody knows why you chose these phones to prove your point. Phone comparison disagrees especially on price https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=14134&idPhone2=14224&idPhone3=14456
Vivo only the X*00 Ultras get Displayport Port
KevinPhoenix, 04 May 2026I got the S25 to have a compact phone to use compared to the bigger ones. So far, not disappoi... moreJust don't install any update after 2-3 years and your phone will work like new, no need to upgrade
Anonymous, 03 May 2026None of them. So small I'm afraid to drop them instantly. Plus or ultra for me.I wish those were even smaller. They are still too big!
Why do people compare this with other brands? Every company has its own marketing strategy, and this comparison is useful for Galaxy users.
I got the S25 to have a compact phone to use compared to the bigger ones. So far, not disappointed and have had no regrets on skipping the S26.
DarlingYext, 03 May 2026Yeah, the vivo X300 and the Xiaomi 17 easily beat them, and with the vivo you even get double ... moreMust be a regional thing. Base S26 can be found much cheaper where I'm at.
The price gap in Europe is now 50-70 eur.
So, nothin' new, same old, barely a hot chip upgrade, 0.1 inch more.
Why compare this dud phone to last year's?
Compare it to it's actual competitors in the compact flagship segment.
With this rate of "innovations" it would be better to compare S26 with S21 or S22 to see some difference
Anonymous, 03 May 2026Same phone basically. Both are trash even. It's true that Samsung hasn't made huge changes with this basic series of its high-end range, but calling it garbage is an exaggeration. It's a phone for those who aren't looking for the most advanced features but also don't want Samsung's A series. It's a phone you could give to your mother-in-law or your father, someone you know won't push it to its limits. I agree it should offer more, but it's not complete garbage.
