Someone Else, 01 Apr 2026200mp Ultrawide with a 1/1.5" size sensor. That's pratically unheard of. Wow. Ev... moreCan't match X200U and X300U's ultrawide camera sensor's sheer size
Finally, we are getting some love for the ultrawides.
Uptil now, it was getting ignored like a step-child.
Can anyone explain to me why Oppo downgraded from the 1/1.56" sensor to a smaller sensor on it's successors?
The fact that it's 200MP doesn't mean anything to me, beyond simply matching the numbers with the other sensors. That's a nice touch, and I appreciate it, I won't deny it, but we have to be aware that it doesn't add anything in terms of performance. What is truly interesting about this announcement is that the sensor size would be larger than expected (interestingly, it would be the same as in the old Find X3 Pro, after all these years) and its performance should finally reach a level somewhat close to what's expected of an "ultra" version. Now we also have to see if the quality of the glass and the processing live up to expectations, of course.
All this just to capture 12.5 MP Bayer RAWs lmao.
rizki1, 01 Apr 2026crazy, is triple 200MP possible? It's certainly possible. This setup wouldn't take up as much space as the sensors in the Find x9 ultra. The rumored periscope is the same size but the main camera is smaller than the find x9 ultra. Although the ultrawide is bigger (probably 1/1.56") the find x9 ultra is reported to use a roughly 1/2" sensor. Also the find x9 ultra has a 10x periscope which takes up probably the most space. Overall, definitely possible as the overall area needed would be less than for the find x9 ultra
No one use ultra wide. Just delete this 14mm sensor

Even some "flagship" sensor have a smaller sensor size than that.
